Some of the cards are universal and can be used on any fighter in your UFC Ultimate Team roster, but others are restricted to a certain weight class, which means that it’s probably best if you create a roster that varies in size. There are also ‘boost’ items which offer temporary boosts (improving a character’s stats for one fight, or recovering a fighter’s fitness levels).Īdditionally, EA notes that all of these cards have different levels and classes too. There are cards for: attributes, perks (e.g passive abilities such as Marathoner and Lightning Speed), moves (such as Superman Punch off the Cage), and special edition items that grant signature moves inspired by real UFC fighters.
Some of these cards are ‘upgrade’ items, allowing you to permanently improve your UFC Ultimate Team character. You can make them better fighters using ‘Fight Packs’, which include a variety of different cards and can be purchased with ‘UFC Points’ or coins.
These characters are completely customisable as you can choose their look, their gear and their skillsets.
